Quilting 101 (The Basics)
Discover how easy it is to get started quilting - or
to refresh your basic skills. Learn about rotary cutting, sewing an
accurate 1/4" seam,
chain piecing, sandwiching, straight machine quilting, and making a binding
- all while making a four-patch table runner. The
cost of this class includes a $20.00 deposit toward your fabric
purchase for the class.
This class will be offered over the course of four Wednesday evenings.

and $20 fabric credit)

quilting technique that allows quilters to create beautiful quilts
- without cutting messy, painstaking triangles! Get perfect corners
and consistent results without going blind at the cutting table.
By using special rulers and a little know-how, Square in a Square™ quilters
breeze through some of the most intricate geometric patterns. In
this technique class you will learn the first 8 options of the
Square in a Square™ method. Square in a Square™ is
ideal for quilters at all levels. Beginners and advanced users

Mitered Binding with Piping Technique Are you interested in new techniques? This is for you! Shelley will show us how to make and insert piping with the binding to eliminate hand sewing. This class is a "technique" class and we will provide a fabric kit. You will require a "Pin Tuck" foot and a "Stitch in
the Ditch" foot for your machine for this class. If you need
to purchase these feet please let us know the make and model of
your machine.

Design With Lines - Machine Quilting
Whether you are a confident beginner or an advanced machine quilter,
you will find this class packed full of valuable information. The
Design with Lines technique was developed by Pam Clarke of Spokane
Wa. Junanne will share Pam's convenient, proven and helpful methods
of creating outstanding designs.

Meandering Magic - Machine Quilting
You've begun your journey into machine quilting and you want to learn more. With meandering magic you will learn some wonderful designs that begin with a large meander. You will be amazed at what you can do. It is just like magic! These designs can be used as an all over pattern on your quilt or for background designs. In this class we will make samples of some of the possibilities that you can in turn use on your own quilts. Date: Sat. March 13th

Turn a basic nine patch block into a beautifully dressed up Candle
